January 12, 2012 Longview Habitat for Humanity announces their upcoming Raisin’ the Roof fundraising banquet on Saturday, February, 4th at Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview. Habitat of Humanity is a non-profit organization that builds homes for families who need help in getting a home of their own.
October 8, 2011 Our great state of Texas has had a rough few months. The fire's raging all over the state have been devastating, to say the least. So many of our friends and neighbors have lost so much. From property, their homes, to personal mementos and of course their livelihood. Some have even lost their lives. As fellow Texans, it pains us to see the devastation these fires have done. But being the Texans we are, we pull together and persevere.
