Last weekend’s episode of ‘Austin City Limts’ on PBS starred Miranda Lambert and actor turned singer-songwriter Jeff Bridges. While the two didn’t collaborate, the audience appreciated both artist’s unique talents during the 60-minute episode.

Jeff Bridges has been singing, playing guitar, and writing songs for years — in fact, in the ’90s, he even went so far as to release an album, ‘Be Here Soon,’ on his own label, Ramp Records. But it wasn’t until he starred in 2009′s ‘Crazy Heart’ that Bridges really had a chance to explore his musical artistry on the big screen.

Now, in a case of life imitating art (or is it the other way around?), Bridges is returning to record store shelves with his self-titled debut for Blue Note Records.

If you loved the original film starring John Wayne - this movie is a must see.

This was two hours of sheer enjoyment.
