Fans everywhere are looking forward to the 2013 CMT Music Awards, which are coming up in June. The first country music awards show to let fans vote for their favorites, the yearly event also features live performances by some of country's biggest artists -- and this year is no exception.

What a week for the Pistol Annies. They released their sophomore album 'Annie Up' and celebrated by performing 'Hush Hush' on the 'Today' show. They also got the good news that their debut, the 2011-released 'Hell on Heels,' was certified Gold, which means it moved 500,000 copies!

The women of Pistol Annies are off and running with their new 'Hush Hush' video from their sophomore album, 'Annie Up.' It's worth a watch (or two or three), as the three beautiful bandmates are sassy and slyly funny in the clip. Plus, you may recognize a few of the cast members -- Jim Lauderdale and Brenda Lee make appearances.

Pistol Annies showed off their delightful collective sense of humor while appearing on the 'Today' show Tuesday morning (May 7), celebrating the release of their new album 'Annie Up.'

For his 'Boys 'Round Here' video, Blake Shelton used his A-list clout to recruit some high profile guest stars, like his wife Miranda Lambert, her bandmates in Pistol Annies and his 'The Voice' Season 2 team member RaeLynn, among others. They're all revelers at a party that looks like it could go horribly wrong and off the rails, but in the end, it's a good time for all the attendees.

Miranda Lambert obtained plenty of wedding planning experience while dreaming up her country shabby-chic wedding to Blake Shelton almost two years ago. Now, she's using everything she learned to help her Pistol Annies bandmate Ashley Monroe plan the perfect wedding day -- she's even been officially dubbed 'Plannie Annie.'

Pistol Annies are slated to release their hotly-anticipated second album on May 7, and now the country trio have revealed the cover art and track listing for the record, which is titled 'Annie Up.'

The themes found on 'Hush Hush' -- the new single from the Pistol Annies' anticipated sophomore album 'Annie Up' -- work within the portrait of the hard luck, rural America that the trio of women painted on 'Hell on Heels.' One recognizes a few characters, but one element is missing:

Kelly Clarkson was a part of an invitation only concert this past week in Nashville for a group of radio programmers where she debuted a new song during the performance. Kelly was backed by one of her favorite groups, the Pistol Annies, which includes East Texan Miranda Lambert (also married to her good friend Blake Shelton).

New music is on the way from Pistol Annies, according to the group's most recognizable member. Miranda Lambert took to her official Twitter account this week to share the news that the 'Takin' Pills' trio is back in the studio working on their sophomore album.

The Pistol Annies have already earned a chart-topping debut album, and their single 'Hell on Heels' went gold, selling over 500,000 copies. Now, Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe are on a natural high after getting some top praise from Neil Young in his recently released book, Waging Heavy Peace: A Hippie Dream.
