I watched in awe at the sheer talent, athleticism and courage of brave athletes pushing themselves to the limit and achieving lifelong dreams. My parents felt it was a great example to us kids. And I agree. Now right here in our own backyard, we have a young athlete who will participate in the Junior Olympics.
