Texas Might Be Hosting the 2024 World Naked Bike Ride

If you’re planning on riding your bike naked, I guess Texas is as good of a place as anywhere in the world, or at least that’s what the organizers of the 2024 World Naked Bike Ride were thinking because it might be taking place in San Antonio. Although things are still a little bare right now (sorry I had to).

The details were shared by San Antonio Express-News about the event that encourages participants to ride ‘as bare as you dare.’ The website says the event is scheduled to take place at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa from June 15th to June 30th.

According to SimpleTix (heads up, there are nude bodies on the ticketing website) the event is set to take place on Saturday, but there are 3 Saturdays in the timeframe of June 15th to 30th. It could be Saturday, June 15th, 22nd or 29th. The event site also has the check in time between 6:00pm and 7:45pm on whatever day the event takes place with the ride leaving by 8:00pm.  

Instructions for Those Participating in the World Naked Bike Ride 

The event happens in the rain or shine so riders should be prepared for any conditions, remember to bring sunscreen. There are lots of other suggestions and rules for anyone who is planning on participating in the naked bike ride. The ticketing website mentioned above says to stay tuned for more details regarding the event I am sure that this will bring a lot of attention to San Antonio if the event does take place as planned.
