Meet the woman that helped prevent the elementary school shooting that almost happened in Georgia this week. The lives saved and injuries prevented are priceless in the wake of the past few year's tragedies. Antoinette Tuff was a true hero.

Tuff, the school clerk for the McNair Discovery Learning Center, became very alarmed when an armed gunman entered the building of the Georgia elementary school. What she did in the following minutes saved countless lives. Her actions helped prevent another American school tragedy.

Though the gunman exchanged shots with the police, the almost 870 pre-kindergarten to fifth grade students attending the school were left unharmed. What did Tuff do to help? She talked to the gunman and helped calm him down.

This is amazing. Tuff should be held in everyone's highest esteem for her brave actions that help save numbers of little ones.
