Toby Keith’s ‘Red Solo Cup’ Performed by 3-Year-Old
Toby Keith‘s ‘Red Solo Cup’ has caught on with the sippy cup crowd. This recently uploaded YouTube video shows a 3-year-old girl in a car seat belting out the chorus of Keith’s viral hit. Fast forward to the 20-second mark to watch her really scream the lyrics.
The catchy song is easy to remember, nd difficult to forget. Keith himself admits it the “stupidest” song he’s ever recorded, but that hasn’t stopped it from climbing the charts. It’s already inside the Top 40 after just three weeks. In addition, ‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy announced he’d be including the show in an upcoming episode of the Fox singing comedy.
The official video for ‘Red Solo Cup’ features appearances from dozens of college aged cuties, baseball pitcher Roger Clemens, comedian’s Craig Ferguson, Jeff Dunham and Carrot Top, and singers Joe Nichols, Eric Church and Ted Nugent. Perhaps a re-release could include this little girl, or maybe the ‘Made in America’ singer will consider a song called ‘Red Sippy Cup.’ “Red sippy cup / Mom fills you up.”
