Tyler Resident Showing Her Support for Police

Teri Dickerson is an avid painter, according to CBS 19, and she is using a different canvas to spread her support for police officers.

She is getting support from her neighbors to paint a blue line on the curb of their home. In just a day's time, she has painted 51.

She can't make it everyone's home but does encourge anyone to grab a brush and some paint and do the same.

Does she worry about retaliation? As she told CBS 19, no. "I thought, ‘what if someone is mad because I'm doing this.’ I thought ‘I don't care… it's worth it to me.'"
