The first several shows of Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard's Django and Jimmie tour have been postponed because of concerns with Nelson's health.

The two were scheduled to play Thursday (Oct. 15) in South Carolina, but the Florence River Civic Center announced on Wednesday the show would be postponed until April 6.

Here is the statement from Nick Hooker, senior marketing manager for the venue:

We have just been informed that Willie Nelson has a medical issue and will be rescheduling the first half of his tour dates. This is all news to us at the moment and we’re still getting details on Willie’s medical concern. We’ve been told this is not life-threatening, but will require several weeks to fully recover."

As of right now only the first three dates of the tour have been rescheduled.

Get well soon, Willie!
