Rita’s got it confirmed, Aaron Watson and Elizabeth Cook are set to release a new duet of a Stevie Nicks written song, called Leather and Lace. Originally written for Waylon Jennings and Jessie Colter it will be on the upcoming “Hearts Across Texas” Texas Love Song compilation album.

Casey Donahew’s “Double Wide Dream” Video Premiere

Casey Donahew’s new video debuted last week on CMT.com to much fanfare. The video which was viewed over 85,000 times in just it’s first two days closed the week at #2 at CMT.com and you can catch it on CMT television all this week.

Eli Young Band do Leno and Release New Video

The platinum selling Texans were on Leno last week where they of course sang Billboards No. 1 Country song of 2011, Crazy Girl but Eli Young Band do finally have a new single out, it’s Will Hoge’s Even If It Breaks Your Heart and the video debuted this week on CMT.com – now lets all hope it’s not their only single of 2012!

Curtis Grimes is “Irresponsible”

Curtis Grimes has a brand new video for his next single “Irresponsible” – Rita says of the song “I like this, I think its fun, it’s hella catchy and it makes me giggle” Another great song review from Rita!

TRRMA Nominations Are In

The nominees for The 2nd Annual Texas Regional Radio Music Awards have been announced and include Texas Powerhouse bands like Randy Rogers Band, Casey Donahew Band, Kevin Fowler but also some great East Texas nominees including Brandon Rhyder, Whiskey Myers, JB & The Moonshine Band and William Clark Green who all came away with nominations.

The TRRMAs are basically Texas Music’s version of The Grammys only it’s all fan voted, so go vote for your favorite Texas/Red Dirt Bands, singles, songs, videos, radio stations (KNUE) and personalities (Buddy Logan.) Click here to register and vote.
