101-5 KNUE knows our listeners love their" critters", that's why we've teamed up with  Pets Fur People animal sanctuary,  to help find homes for these loveable animals. This feature will highlight a different "critter" weekly, so don't miss all the fun.

Meet Star and Ginger, three year old Chihuahua sisters. Gayle Helms, Executive Director of Pets Fur People say these girls are the sweetest and are inseparable, so they must be adopted together. They love to run and play together and keep each other company. These girls would do best in a household with older children. Both girls are house trained and know how to use the doggie door. Once they get to know you, Star and Ginger are love bugs – love being lap dogs.

Star and Ginger are available for adoption at Pets Fur People (formerly the Humane Society of East Texas) in Tyler. Star and Ginger have been spayed and are current on starting vaccinations including rabies. They have been microchipped for identification purposes and when adopted will receive a free gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance.

For additional information call 903 597-2471 or check the Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm.

Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. Follow them on Facebook and twitter.

Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets.
