When you talk to most people just starting a simple conversation asking, “how are you”? It seems like the most common response lately is I’m tired. People are pushing themselves too hard to continue to see progress at work and at home, it seems like rest is just not much a priority anymore. There is a new study that was done by Finance Buzz that shows people in Texas work very hard as 2 of their top 10 most overworked cities are located here in Texas.

Personally, I fall into this same category, often working 12-13 hours days, but I am one of the more fortunate people who actually enjoys their job so it’s easy for the hours to pass by quickly. But I will say that trying to have more of a work life balance is a goal, it’s just more difficult to achieve than I expected.
