The last time Tim McGraw and Faith Hill went on tour together, it went pretty well — the string of dates they shared in 2006 and 2007 broke the record for the top-grossing country tour of all time.

Next year, they’ll take their act on the road again, and although this looks like a much shorter run — only six dates have been announced — they’ll still be covering a lot of distance. In fact, they’re heading all the way to Australia.

The Tim McGraw and Faith Hill/Australia 2012 tour will be the duo’s first non-US engagement together, running from March 14-27. Fans can expect to hear an evening of huge hits, including their duets ‘Let’s Make Love’ and ‘I Need You.’

Both McGraw and Hill are preparing new music for release in 2012, with McGraw’s next album, ‘Emotional Traffic,’ already in the vaults at Curb Records, where it’s been waiting for a release date. Hill has been hard at work on her next album, the follow-up to 2005′s ‘Fireflies,’ for over a year.
