The Foreign Policy Association’s annual lecture series 'Great Decisions' is returning to the Tyler Public Library.

This year’s series contains a plethora of current event topics including, “The Future of Europe,” “Conflict in the South China Sea,” “Saudi Arabia in Transition” and “Nuclear Security.” Lectures take place every Wednesday at noon and will run Jan. 18 to March 8.

“The Great Decisions programs are an excellent opportunity for Tyler citizens to explore issues of major concern to U. S. policymakers today and learn from our regional experts on these thought-provoking topics,” says City Librarian Mary Vernau.

The Great Decisions briefing books cost $22 and may be purchased at the Tyler Public Library’s Information Desk. The lectures will be held in the Library’s Taylor Auditorium.
