Week three of our first-ever Radio Texas, LIVE Massive Christmas Music Melee begins today as we move onto the the semifinals. Our pool of eight Texas and Red Dirt Christmas songs has been whittled down, by your votes, to four.

Today we say a warm "farewell" to a handful of scene powerhouses including: Kevin Fowler, Eli Young Band, Pat Green and Cody Canada. While we wish Ali Dee, Johnny Cooper, Kyle Park and the Casey Donahew/Cody Johnson collaboration "good luck" as they all move on.

If you're new to the Melee here's what we're doing:

We’re not about the Christmas “mainstays” here at Radio Texas, LIVE! This year we’re shaking it up a bit with our very first RTX Massive Christmas Music Melee. Through Dec. 24th we will pit eight of your favorite Texas and Red Dirt artists’ Christmas songs against each other. And come Christmas Eve there will be just one song left standing: The RTX Massive Christmas Music Melee Champion 2012.

We began with eight songs that I chose myself (Robert Earl Keen's "Merry Christmas from the Family" was disqualified due to the fact it's all ready the best Christmas song ever). We then drew the pairings at random. Now, we need you to cast your vote in the semifinals to decide who moves on to the Melee Championship.

Here's how you're semifinals shape up. Kyle Park's "Winter Wonderland" goes head to dead with Ali Dee's "Santa Baby."

Johnny Cooper's take on "Please Come Home for Christmas" looks to send the Casey Donahew/Cody Johnson original "When Santa Rides Through Texas" back to the North Pole. Listen to all and vote for your favorite.

Voting for the semifinals ends at 11:59 p.m. CST Saturday, Dec. 22. Happy voting and Merry Christmas!

Ali Dee "Santa Baby."

Kyle Park "Winter Wonderland."

Johnny Cooper "Please Come Home for Christmas."

Casey Donahew/Cody Johnson "When Santa Rides Through Texas."
