‘Swamp People’ Star David LaDart Loses 19-Year-Old Son in Car Wreck

Daniel LaDart, the 19-year-old son of 'Swamp People' television star David LaDart, was killed in an early Sunday morning car accident in Monroe, La.

According to a news report, Daniel LaDart was driving his 2001 Chevrolet truck in Union Parish when he went off the road, overcorrected and then went into a wooded area, hitting several trees. He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Daniel's father, David, and stepbrother Jeromy Pruitt are two alligator hunters on the television show 'Swamp People.' This season the two nearly won a $10,000 contest for hunting the biggest alligator.
