Julie Weiss isn’t afraid to run from a challenge.

Looking at Zach Sobiech, you would see him as a typical 17-year-old boy. But Zach isn't like other kids. Zach has an untreatable form of cancer that is going to cut his life short. But instead of weeping and being sad, he is a happy kid living life to the fullest. And he even wrote a song about it.

Robin Roberts is not only a daily fixture each morning on ABC's Good Morning America, but she is so beloved. She has been through so much with her family and her public fight with breast cancer. She is true and real. People can relate to Robin and they adore her! Well, Robin  made her final appearance (for awhile) as she begins her extended medical leave to start her treatment for MDS.

Addison Kleinhans is 7 years old. His best friend, Bella Hicks, is two years younger. But despite their gender and age differences, they call each other soul mates, or BFFs. They are together all the time, because they are battling the same disease, together.

I just got chill bumps after watching this video.  It is set in the Seattle Children’s Hospital and features kids that have some form of cancer lip-syncing to Kelly Clarkson‘s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”.

A new study reveals hair stylists and barbers are excellent detectors of skin cancers on the scalp, neck and face, areas often difficult to see by others. Two hundred stylists and barbers in Houston, TX were surveyed, and researchers found that although few of them had been formally trained to spot cancer, more than half had already found cancerous moles or lesions on clients.
