Uncle Lucius has been a force in the Texas music scene for years. They're not just country -- they take the roots of rock and roll and blend it into a country-blues style that's addicting. Their latest single, "Keep the Wolves Away," off new album "And You Are Me" is the perfect example.

Last night -- October 13, the Eli Young Band and Uncle Lucius took over East Texas. The bands rocked the stage at the Lonestar Event Center to raise money for the local volunteer fire departments since they have been so hard at work these last couple weeks. These guys are such nice guys with great hearts, and it's so exciting to see them succeed nationally. But Texas will always be their home.
