Wow. These New Music Challenges certainly aren't getting any easier. The two songs I've chosen this week couldn't be more different, in fact the only thing they may have in common is their fairly lengthy titles. Well, that and the singers of both are two of the best at what they do. This week Jon Wolfe's "It All Happened in a Honky Tonk" goes head to head with Adam Hood's "Hard Times in the Land of Plenty."

First up, Jon Wolfe. If you love traditional country-western, boot scootin' music Jon Wolfe is your guy. His sound and style is right there, in line with guys like George Strait, Alan Jackson and Aaron Watson. And why not, that's a great line to be in. Plus with a cut on Joe Nichols latest album, Wolfe is also an accomplished song-writer. Now, for your consideration his latest single "It All Happened in a Honky Tonk."

And in this corner all the way from Opelika, Alabam -- Adam Hood. Vocally and lyrically, there are few in all of music that compare to this dude. When Adam sings it shakes your soul and speaks to you on a-whole-nother, totally different level. Like Wolfe he too us an accomplished song-writer. Co-writing multiple songs on both Josh Abbott's, "Small Town Family Dream" and Wade Bowen's, "The Given." Here is his new single "Hard Times in the Land of Plenty."

Voting ends June 2, 2012 at 9 p.m. CST. Winner will be announced and played that night on Radio Texas, LIVE! Good luck to both singers.
