Considering this fast paced world we live in it's no wonder that a lot of us suffer from fatigue! In most cases we can all make some minor adjustments and feel better. Look at your 'to-do' list for the day and if all you want to do is take a nap, then it might be something more then just fatigue. If so, then you may need to seek the advice of a doctor to make sure it's not a bigger problem, like anemia, depression, diabetes, Fibromyalgia or  other serious condition.

Adequate Sleep - If you stay up late at night or sleep fitfully, you risk conditions like depression and weight gain. Experts say you should try and get 7 hours of sleep per night.

Regular Activity - When you sit and lay around all day, it makes you more tired! Take a walk, it stimulates the 'feel good' hormones, improves blood flow, moves oxygen to your cells and speeds up your metabolism. All this creates more energy!

Balanced Diet - (This is the hard one!) When we fill up on sugary, fried and fatty foods or simple carbs, our blood sugar spikes and we experience high and low periods of energy.

'Hey, ya got 5 minutes?' - Enjoy a walk or riding a bike outdoors is better at cutting fatigue, anger and sadness than using a treadmill or a stationary bike! Benefits are even greater if the activity takes place near water!

Consider the ' Big' picture - (this one is hard for me, but I try!) Sometimes we should all forget what we should do and focus on what we want to do. Doing what you want can be very energizing!

Just say 'NO!' - (another hard one for me!) For all you 'pleasers,' his is a good one. When you confidently assert yourself  in a direct, nonaggression way it can empower and invigorate you! Plus you don't have to get stuck with projects you don't want to do!

Hopefully these tips will help you in some way! Remember, life is short!
