NSFW Buc-ee’s Billboard Vandalism Appears in Ohio Because of Lawsuit

(Beavercreek, Ohio) - Buc-ee's is loved by millions of people across multiple states. With all that love comes a lot of, for lack of a better term, hate for Buc-ee's. Many believe they're anti-trucker because they don't allow 18 wheelers to park on their property.

Others don't like the pit stop because of all the lawsuits they file against mom and pop shops that have a logo that is just slightly similar to Buc-ee's. It has caused some to close because they couldn't afford a lawyer and court costs. That hasn't stopped a town in Ohio where a mini mart is currently being sued.

Beavercreek, Ohio Town is Fighting Back Against Buc-ee's

Beaver's Mini-Mart in Beavercreek, Ohio is one of the many entities in the town that has embraced the native beaver in what they do. The high school's mascot is a beaver. Buc-ee's apparently doesn't like that a mini mart in Beavercreek is called Beaver's Mini Mart (KNUE).

Buc-ee's also doesn't like the beaver mascot the mini mart has. There are no shirts, there are no hats, there are no products featuring that beaver, just their sign on the building. Buc-ee's believes it infringes on their Buc-ee logo and has filed suit.

Protestors Vandalized a Buc-ee's Billboard

The mini mart, and the town, are not backing down from Buc-ee's. Residents of the town are not either. Proof is a Buc-ee's billboard that sits on Route 4 about eight miles from the Buc-ee's in Huber Heights, Ohio. Some protestors vandalized the billboard with a NSFW message (mysanantonio.com).

I won't embed the Facebook post showing the billboard so I'll just link it HERE if you want to check it out. Obviously, those residents are not happy with Buc-ee's. It's a slice of drama that will have to play out in the courtroom.

Fans Don't Have to Agree with Buc-ee's

Me and my family are fans of Buc-ee's. But being a fan doesn't mean you have to agree with what they're doing. I personally think Buc-ee's is overreaching with this lawsuit. I think Buc-ee's needs to back off because no one is going to confuse Beaver's Mini Mart, nor its logo, for Buc-ee's.
