John David Kent And The Dumb Angels Return To RTX-Live Saturday [AUDIO]

The name Dumb Angels comes from Beach Boy Brian Wilson while John David Kent (JDK) and The Dumb Angels‘ music comes from the heart. Growing up in Texas and influenced by the likes of John Denver and Willie Nelson JDK feels like he is finally writing what comes natural to him. The video for his current single ‘My Girl’ was chosen as CMTs Pick Of The Week towards the end of 2010 which then caused radio to take notice, usually it’s the other way around.

But doing things a little different is nothing new to JDK who was the drummer for a grunge rock band in the 90′s called ‘Radish’ that toured Japan, Europe and made the late night television rounds from Late Night With Conan O’Brien the The Late Show With David Letterman, but it ultimately brought him right back home to Texas.

When JDK stopped by RTX he got Five Questions, check it out!

JDK returns to Radio Texas Live this Saturday and I’ll give him a chance at redemption after his horrendous display during 5 Questions last time -don’t miss it.  In the mean time here’s the video for his current single ‘My Girl’
