Texas Regional Radio had there first annual music awards show this past weekend in Arlington, Texas. Congratulations to The Josh Abbott Band who won Song of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year and Video of the Year. Of course East Texas native and favorite, Kasey Musgrave was on almost every song of  the album!

I get to meet a lot of musicians doing this job that I am so privileged to do. The very first time I met the guys from JB and the Moonshineband (JBMB) was nearly 2 years ago on a Saturday night, live on the radio and since then I've watched as their music career has been catapaulted into hyperdrive.  Article continues after "the jump"
