JB and the Moonshine Band and their new song, 'No Better than This', will be going up against the new song from Wade Hayes. Hayes was recently diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer, but the good news is it is now in remission.  Hayes wrote and recorded the song 'Is it Already Time' which depicts his feelings over the past several months.

Of all the great bands that call the Texas Music scene home (and there are a lot, my friend), JB and the Moonshine Band are one of the best up-and-comers in it. And 2012 has been a banner year for JBMB. JB Patterson and the band spent three months as the only country band on the road opening with southern rapper Colt Ford as a part of his "Declaration of Independence Tour."

Fresh off the heels of their first No. 1 single, "Beer for Breakfast," JB and the Moonshine Band are back with a new single, the second release off of 2012's "Beer for Breakfast,"and the perfect summer song. East Texas is full of talented people, especially country singers. Think about it: Neal McCoy, Miranda Lambert, Linda Davis, Ray Price, Lee Ann Womack, J.B and The Moonshine Band, Whiskey Myers, Brandon Rhyder, Curtis Grimes, and Johnny Horton. And that's just scratching the surface.

I can't lie. This is gonna be tough -- for you, I mean. We've got JB and the Moonshine Band's new single "No Better Than This" going up against Kevin Fowler's "Here's to Me and You." What country artist would like to see come to East Texas? I can think of tons just off the top of my head! But the country superstars usually just come as close as Dallas, Shreveport or Houston. But wouldn't it be awesome if we could get whoever we wanted to come to our backyard and perform?
