Texas Rangers Star Lance Berkman Donates Fire Truck to West, Texas

The Texas Rangers have always been good about helping out communities, and this weekend will be all about helping West, Texas.

When the Houston Astros make their way to Arlington on Saturday, July 6, the Rangers will be honoring the city of West throughout the game.

However, designated hitter for the Rangers, Lance Berkman, has taken a step toward helping out the West community in advance. Berkman has supported the refurbishing of an old fire truck to donate to West.

This firetruck donation is not the first made by a Rangers player, last year another firetruck was donated to Las Matas Santa Cruz in the Dominican Republic by Nelson Cruz.
