Free Pet Adoptions Return to Tyler This June
(Tyler, Texas) Tyler Animal Services is giving you a chance to adopt an animal from the shelter for free while helping someone stay cool this summer.
Throughout June, Tyler Animal Services is continuing its partnership with PATH (People Attempting To Help) by offering a special incentive to those considering adopting an animal from the shelter. What began in May is continuing through June thanks to the success of the box fan drive.
How the Free Adoption Program Works
Adoption fees will be waived during June with a donation of two new box fans. These fans will be donated to PATH and distributed to individuals who can use them to keep cool this summer.
The shelter has many dogs and cats of various breeds waiting to be adopted. With your two fan donations, Tyler Animal Services will waive the typical $120 adoption fee for dogs or the $80 fee for cats. After your donation and adoption, you'll be greeted by a barking dog or purring cat when you arrive home each day. Plus, you'll be helping other East Texans cool down on extremely hot days.

Meet the Pets Waiting for a Home
You can see all the animals that are waiting to be adopted in Tyler by visiting the Tyler Animal Services website. You can also visit them at 4218 Chandler Highway (Texas State Highway 31). See one you want to adopt? Go ahead and complete the adoption application online, and then go make them a part of your family today.
All adopted animals will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations.

How PATH Helps East Texas Families
All fans will then be donated to PATH. PATH supports East Texans who are facing hardship. They assist individuals with a variety of services, including help with rent, utilities, prescriptions, housing, and more. They also help those who may not have air conditioning keep cool during the summer with box fans.
