Country Stars Who Have Performed at the Super Bowl

Super Bowl LI was packed with country music stars, with Luke Bryan earning rave reviews for his rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" before the big game at Houston's NRG Stadium. Cash showed up during another pre-game commercial with his spoken-word track, "Ragged Old Flag." The spot featured powerful highlights from historic moments in U.S. history, including gymnast Simone Biles scoring a gold medal at the Olympics and civil rights marches in the 1960s. The track is featured on Cash's 1974 album of the same name.

Travis Tritt, a Georgia native and self-proclaimed fan of his home team, the Atlanta Falcons, re-released the song "Falcons Fever" in weeks leading up to the game in support of the team. He wrote the anthem in 2004, and it is often played during home games and victorious plays on the field. The New England Patriots ultimately defeated the Atlanta Falcons for a comeback win and final score of 34-28.
