'American Idol' season 12 finalist and East Texas native Kree Harrison performed on the show's finale Thursday night (May 16), and she was joined by judges Keith Urban and Randy Jackson for a high-energy rendition of Urban's hit 'Where the Blacktop Ends.'

The number was part of a star-studded season finale that also saw Urban perform his current single 'Little Bit of Everything,' as well as the Band Perry joining top five contestant Janelle Arthur on their current single 'Done.' Judge Mariah Carey also performed a medley of her hits, and Harrison joined the other top five finalists for a song with Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.

Harrison, who is from Woodville, has tended toward big ballads and mid-tempo soulful songs this season, but she showed she's more than capable of handling a higher-energy commercial hit song by going toe-to-toe with Urban, who also showed off his stellar guitar technique. Jackson held down the bottom end in a rare onstage appearance on 'Idol,' which also marks his final appearance on the show as he has announced that he will not return next season.
