'Just a Kiss,' the first single from Lady Antebellum's new album, was released Monday (May 2) to radio stations, and the trio will perform it live Thursday (May 5) on American Idol. Lady Antebellum

According to CMT.com, the song was written by band members Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott. More after the jump.

"We love writing songs from personal experience, and this is definitely one of those songs," Scott said. "There is so much excitement at the beginning of a new relationship ... all the butterflies and that optimistic feeling that this person could be 'the one.'

Haywood noted, "One of the best things about writing for us is that we have the option to speak from both the man and woman's perspective because Charles and Hill can share lead vocals."

The still untitled album, is the 3rd for Lady A,  and is set for release later this year. The last album, 'Need You Now' went triple - platinum. Will they as much success with this next album?
