The Christmas season is upon us and among other things, that means "CHRISTMAS MUSIC, hooray!" Or, for all you Grinches, that means, "Christmas Music? Boo!" Regardless which reaction you experience, one thing is certain -- your ears are fixin' to be inundated with sounds of the season.

All right all you Cody Canada and the Departed lovers the band released TWO videos this week. One is a music video the other is a "docu-video," of sorts, in which they address many issues, including one for fans of the now defunct former Red Dirt powerhouse band, Cross Canadian Ragweed.

If you haven't heard, former Cross Canadian Ragweed front-man Cody Canada is back with a new band called The Departed (maybe cause he took half of Ragweed with him when he departed --but that's pure speculation.)  And you can see The Departed Saturday night in Tyler at The East Texas State Fair.
