Last weekend at Reckless Kelly's annual Celebrity Softball Jam those in attendance got a surprise performance from the Bowen boys. Wade brought up his two sons to sing "If We Ever Make it Home." Like Rita Ballou said "Shut up with the cuteness!"

I've said it a hundred times and I stand by it, John David Kent and the Dumb Angels are one of the best new bands in the Texas Music scene and you've got another chance to see them tonight.

What a horrible week it's been for Wade Bowen. He had to cancel his Front Porch Show here at KNUE to attend the funeral for a family member. Now due to the death of a crew member he's had to cancel his concert Friday, April 20th at Electric Cowboy.

We are sad to report Wade Bowen has had to cancel his Front Porch Show that was scheduled for this Friday April 20th in the KNUE studios. Wade has had a death in the family and so he will be attending the funeral during the day.

Johnny Cooper recently cut off all his hair, but don't worry Samson he is not. Even though his trademark big-ass curl-fro is gone he hasn't missed one step. Cooper is still putting out great Texas Music and putting on amazing live shows all over Texas. And he's doing it as he always has -- as only as only Johnny Cooper can.

Last week RC Edwards of the Turnpike Troubadours called into Radio Texas Live. We talked about about their new single "Gin, Smoke, Lies", their concert at Electric Cowboy (WHICH WAS AWESOME!) and their new album "Goodbye Normal Street."

Well, we've got your chance! Over the years we've had some big performances on the Porch. Guys like Stoney LaRue, Kevin Fowler and Josh Abbott have all made stops here and we are happy to continue the proud tradition when Wade Bowen makes his Front Porch debut this Friday, April 20.

Hudson Moore will be rockin' Tyler, Texas when he takes the stage tonight at Electric Cowboy. You may remember Hudson -- he opened for the legendary Alan Jackson this past February in Tyler at the Oil Palace, but tonight he takes center stage.
