Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks is still ashamed, but her target is someone new in 2016.

After being inducted into the West Texas Walk of Fame, Natalie Maines and her father performed a stirring rendition of the Dixie Chicks song "Wide Open Spaces."

You just never know who might end up onstage at a Taylor Swift concert. The country-turned-pop superstar surprised fans at a show in Los Angeles on Monday (Aug. 24) by bringing Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines out to duet with her on one of the trio's biggest hits, "Goodbye Earl."

The Dixie Chicks released a statement on their Facebook page claiming the West Texas Walk Of Fame is honoring lead Chick, Natalie Maines. Former "Walk of Fame" Inductees include Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, and her father, Lloyd Maines.

Say what you want (Lord knows Natalie Maines does), but the Dixie Chicks are one of the best bands of-all-time; and may be the best female band ever. Country or not.
