The Tyler Parks and Recreation is set to host its 10th annual Daddy-Daughter and seventh annual Mother-Son Dance at the Glass Recreation Center on Feb. 5 and 6.

The Mother-Son dance is scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and the Daddy-Daughter Dance will be held the following night from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Both dances will take place at the Glass recreation Center at 501 W. 32nd St. in Tyler.

The Mother-Son dance is for boys ages 4 to 12 years old, and the Daddy/Daughter Dance for girls is split into two events. Girls ages 4 to 8 will attend with their fathers from 6 to 7:30, and older girls from 9 to 12 years old may attend from 8 to 9:30.

Both nights will feature a DJ, refreshments, photography and dancing. Attendees are invited to wear semi-formal attire.

Tickets are on sale now for $9 in advance at the Glass Recreation Center or may be purchased at the door for $10. Only 300 tickets will be available for each event, so purchase your tickets early.
