Jim grew up in Texas and is the father of four kids and three dogs. A graduate of the University of Houston, Jim is also an award-winning film producer and screenwriter for his short film “Soul Searching.” In 2016, he was honored with the first Comedy Trailblazer Award for Radio at the Comedy and Poetry Awards in Houston. He has logged radio time in Houston, Victoria and Philadelphia. Jimbo most enjoys the creative aspect of radio- Theater of the Mind – the ability to be a part of people’s lives in an intimate but anonymous way. INTERESTS: Live Music, playing guitar, writing songs, screenwriting, podcasts and podcasting, movies, tv (both current and classic), sports and most importantly, family time.
