It's important to keep your wits about you.

Things are different. While some of those things suck, some are kind of alright.

The innovation shown by our local merchants when it comes to curbside or even safely opening has been fantastic. They've reset their business models in a way that is not only bringing people in, but will also boost their businesses into hyperdrive when the coronavirus threat diminishes.

I am grateful that we all of greater knowledge of who our local businesses are and why they are so important. I'm also grateful that I've taken the time to really talk to my friends and appreciate all that I have.

If you take the proper precautions, your chances of catching this virus are very, very low. At this point, I don't even have to tell you what to do. You are probably a professional at keeping clean and keeping your distance.

Just take a big breath and don't wait for all of this to blow over. Instead, appreciate some of the upsides all of us having a shared burden has brought us. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, so make sure you make the most of today.
