Don Henley, drummer and songwriter for country-rock superstars the Eagles, is reportedly in the studio working on a solo country album, reports Taste Of Country.

The Eagles are my all-time favorite group of any genre. I was lucky enough to see them in concert a few times, and was blown away by the talent in that group. So much talent, that each member went on to have a very successful solo career.

Henley, who pretty much ruled the airwaves with the Eagles throughout the ’70s and then began a two decade career as a multi-platinum hit machine on his own when the band broke up in 1980, reunited with his legendary bandmates in 1994.

The Eagles will be touring the Far East and Europe much of this spring, beginning with a Feb. 20 date in Bangkok.

I can tell you I will be the first in line to buy this album when it hits the shelves! Did you grown up listening to the Eagles too? It's music that has definitely stood the test of time.

What are some of your favorite Eagles songs?
