Eagles founding member Don Henley is hitting the road, and he's flying solo.

Earlier this summer the legendary rocker announced the release of a solo country album, Cass CountyNow he plans to embark on a tour of the same name to support the project. The tour will kick off in early October and last through mid-November, hitting 15 major cities along the way.

Henley recently revealed the track listing for the album, as well as the tour dates and venues. He also gave a sneak peek of his duet with Dolly Parton on a cover of the Louvin Brothers’ “When I Stop Dreaming.”

"I think we had about two or three takes with Dolly," Henley tells USA Today. "She comes in and goes, 'I know this song; I used to do it with Porter (Wagoner).' She sings it once, and she goes, 'Mmm, it's in a pretty high key for me. I guess I'll just have to rare back and get it.' And, boy, she did. What a voice that girl has, coming out of such a small person."

Other classic country cover songs on the album include Jesse Winchester's "Brand New Tennessee Waltz" and Billy Sherrill's "Too Far Gone."

"I kind of started the album by recording those cover songs," Henley continues. "It got me started and inspired me to try to measure up to those songs. I'm not comparing my stuff to them, but they were the catalyst for some of the other stuff."

The track "When I Stop Dreaming" is available on iTunes when you pre-order the album, which is due out Sept. 25.
