The Sierra Club has raised concerns about an East Texas power plant.

The Sierra Club is raising concerns about the air quality in East Texas. The power plant in question is the Martin Lake Power Plant, according to EastTexasMatters.com.

“It is the source of what’s called a non-attainment area or an area that doesn’t comply with the public health standard. Emissions have gone up, they’ve doubled since 2016, so the emissions that they had last year, literally over twice that than they had in the year they were found to be not complying with the public health standard."
