One of my favorite definitions of character is 'when someone does the right thing especially when no one is watching'. Or as this story goes, when you think no one is watching.

New 2 Houston reported on a story recently that took place at a middle school on the Cy-Fair campus. Just like most every school in the Lone Star State, the students at Smith Middle School recite the Pledge of Allegiance, the Texas Pledge, and then pause for a moment of silence. One of the teachers at the school looked out the window and happened to notice that a groundskeeper had set down his equipment to pay his respects to God, our country, and state.
