SHREVEPORT, LA - A nice getaway is a time to recharge and relax. Even a business trip can be a great time to get a little stress relief. But it all starts with your hotel experience.

One hotel in Texas is taking another step to make sure guests and staff are happy. The Fairmont Dallas now has a Chief Happiness Officer. But this is not a job you can apply for. The hotel now has Bondi on staff to help guests have a special visit. Bondi is a rescue pup. The Fairmont Dallas is a pet-friendly hotel. Bondi roams the halls of the hotel greeting each guest and gathering up the love.

Bondi is quite friendly and eagerly greets guests and staffers who are in the hotel.

NBCDFW reports Fairmont Dallas Director of Talent Yoke Young says "We recruited Bondi a few months ago. When I joined this hotel I thought it would be a great thing to add to make people happy at work. When people are happy at work, guests would be happy, too."

You are encouraged to play with Bondi in the lobby and toss her toys to let her have a little fun.

Guests say Bondi helps make them happy and calm. She also shows them all unconditional love.

Yong said he believes Fairmont Dallas is the only hotel in the area with a resident dog.

"Fairmont is all about turning moments into memories," Yong said "So I think Bondi is really here for that purpose of creating special memories for our guests."

What Is a Chief Happiness Officer?

Usually a chief happiness officer (CHO) is a human and provides consultation and support for employees and managers in a corporate setting. But in this case, Bondi not only gets love from employees, but she is encouraged to interact with all guests.

Fairmont Dallas GM David Sher says Bondi spreads joy and is the perfect ambassador for the hotel. You will not only find Bondi in the hotel lobby, but she will also be seen on the rooftop terrace. You can also request that she be allowed to attend your company meetings or events.
