Summer temperatures are soaring near the century mark daily, and with the humidity factored in, it's feeling well over 100 degrees every day, and folks across The Lone Star State are looking for a way to cool down.

Besides seeking the comfort of the indoors and plenty of cold air conditioning or jumping headfirst into a pool, many of us choose to cool down with something frozen.

How Your Blizzard Purchase Helps Local Kids

This Thursday, we can cool down with our favorite frozen treat from Dairy Queen* (DQ) and help children right here in East Texas at the same time.

DQ is hosting Miracle Treat Day on the 31st with a portion of Blizzard sales benefiting the Children's Miracle Network!

By the way, the National Weather Service predicts Thursday's high temperature to be 100 degrees, so Thursday will be a perfect day to stop into Dairy Queen and treat yourself to a Blizzard treat, and when you do, $1 or more of every DQ Blizzard purchased will go to Children's Miracle Network and will benefit East Texas children.
