Maggie, The Terrier Mix, Is Simply Looking For A Loving Family
There is a pet overpopulation problem here in East Texas. Shelters in our area seem to consistently be near capacity with a lot of dogs and cats that are simply looking for a family to call their own. This week's pet of the week is no different.
Maggie is just over a year old. She is a terrier mix and has a beautiful butterscotch-golden-white coat and stunning golden eyes. Being just a year old, Maggie is full of energy.
Pets Fur People's executive director Gayle Helms describes Maggie as being kind with a gentle personality. She loves human companionship, cuddling, and exercising by going on walks and running and playing. Maggie is somewhat of a one-owner dog because she's not too fond of other dogs or even livestock.
Sweet Maggie is fully vetted and will go home with a starter kit of food, a big fluffy dog bed, a collar, and a leash.
For additional information on adopting Maggie call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet. Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
