Whether you know it or not, fall is unofficially here and we have Starbucks to thank for it because the Pumpkin Spice Latte, more commonly called the PSL, is now available. Starbucks continues to rush in the fall season by releasing it earlier and earlier every year.

While you may be in a fall frame of mind thanks to the PSL, Mother Nature reminds us that summer still has a firm grip on us all with mid 90s to near triple digits for at least the next several weeks if not for another month and a half!

So as you sprint to find some shade or air conditioning you can check out these, hopefully indoor, weekend events.

Here is your chance to see and get pictures of baseball's World Series trophy. The Texas Rangers are the 2023 World Series Champions and they are bringing the trophy on a road trip through East Texas with stops happening in:

Jucy's Car And Truck Show

The Jucy's Hamburger location on Loop 323 near Tractor Supply will be the site of the car show. Registration begins at 7a with the show starting at 9a. There will be food specials, door prizes, 50/50 tickets, and awards in over 80 different categories.

Angelina County Farmers Market Petting Zoo

The Longview Greggton Rotary Club is proud to announce the 4th annual Boss of the Toss Saturday, August 24th from 4p – 8p at Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview.

This year’s event features Competitive Cornhole, Social Cornhole, Left-Right-Center Tables, Bucket Raffle, Live Auction, Table Games, Vendors & More!

There are two divisions of Cornhole. Tables are set up for Left Right Center Competitions with $1, $5, $10 tables available and a High Roller Table for $20 at the end of the night. There is a Bucket Raffle with hundreds of great gifts to win and a Live Auction at the end of the night.

We will have food trucks serving up great food and plenty of free beverages inside. This is a ticketed event.
