Make Plans to Attend KNUE’s ‘Big Bass Bash’ This Weekend at Lake Palestine Resort

The first-ever Big Bass Bash, presented by 101.5 KNUE and Fairway Auto Center, is finally upon us. We'd love to invite you out to Lake Palestine Resort on Saturday and Sunday to watch more than 120 anglers battle for the ultimate bass -- and the grand prize of $10,000.

Dozens of anglers will descend on Lake Palestine to try to snag that big bass (maybe even better than the 13.4-pounder caught a few weeks ago for a new lake record), and get big payouts in the process. There will be hourly weigh-ins with the biggest bass each hour winning $500.

The big winner of the whole weekend gets an incredible $10,000.

Are you wondering if it's too late to register? Not all all. It's $100 to fish one day or $150 to fish both days, and all you need to do is go here, print out the registration form and bring it with you at 5 a.m. Saturday morning at Lake Palestine resort to get registered before hitting the lake promptly at 6 a.m.

Not interested in fishing, but just want to watch? We'd love to see you! Bring a chair (and some sunscreen and sunglasses; it's gonna be warm!) and watch East Texas' best fight for the biggest bass.

Weigh-ins will happen on the hour from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and at 3 p.m. Sunday we'll crown our overall champion.
