Pat Mahomes, Jr. made a name for himself as the quarterback of the Whitehouse Wildcats. From there, he moved on to Texas Tech and into the NFL.

He is currently the backup quarterback for the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Recently, he signed a deal with Adidas. Through his new shoe deal, Pat has made a donation of football cleats to his Alma Mater Whitehouse Wildcats according to KLTV.

And players were very excited about it. Whitehouse player Jeremiah Johnson told KLTV, "Like the saying little kids in a candy store, it was like that in the locker room. It was just happy faces all around."

Javier Neil said, "It just feels special to have something that he gave us. He didn't have to do it, he just thought about us down in Whitehouse."

Very cool Pat. We are proud you're representing East Texas in Kansas City. Go Chiefs!
