Amazing Rumor Flying About Costco Coming to Tyler, Texas

This might be the best rumor that has been on the Tyler, Tx Rants, Raves, and Recommendations page ever! There is a guy who posted this afternoon about a Costco store coming to Tyler. While I cannot confirm these rumors from the Costco company there are other locals that are confirming that same rumor that Costco could be headed our way.

The rumor was said to have come from a Costco manager at the Rockwall location, although when I called the store I spoke with Juanita who said "they couldn't confirm that information."

As you can tell I would love nothing more to add a Costco location to Tyler. I'm a fan of buying in bulk if it can save some money. Plus, stocking up on items to make fewer trips to the store sounds amazing to me. And let's not even get started on the hot food counter with their $1.50 hot dog or polish and a 20 oz. soda.

The location that was mentioned online was that the new Costco locations would be on Broadway which would make sense because of all the traffic there. More specifically the rumor is that the exact location would be across the street from the Academy store which is at 8668 South Broadway in Tyler.

Yes, I would be a big fan of the cheap dogs or a chicken bake for lunch but another fantastic bonus would be the jobs created by the large store opening. I've had friends that worked at Costco in the past and they said they got paid well. Fingers crossed the rumor is true!
