Today the Josh Abbott Band kicked off the marketing campaign for their next radio single and new album with a big ol' teaser video. The guys who have spent the summer non-stop touring in Texas, and nationally as well, offered a taste of "Amnesia."

I saw an artist perform the other day, who may or may not be on this list *cough cough* that did a phenomenal rendition of a song outside of their genre. It got me thinking about the artists in our Texas Music scene - the songs they choose to cover at their shows and why they choose those particular songs.

Wade Bowen is all set to host his 16th annual "Wade Bowen Classic" celebrity golf tournament. Since it's inception, Bowen and The Bowen Family Foundation, have raised close to half a million dollars for various local organizations.

Wade Bowen is all set to host his 15th annual "Wade Bowen Classic" celebrity golf tournament, and all proceeds raised this year will go directly to the victims of the fertilizer plant explosion in West, TX. Upon hearing of the tragedy in West, Bowen who hails from nearby Waco knew he had to what he could to help.
