Texas Music Scene Mourns the Tragic Loss of Kylie Rae Harris

It is being reported that Texas singer/songwriter Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident, the Texas Music scene is heartbroken. Our thoughts are with her family and especially her beautiful 6-year-old daughter.

According to the AP, Harris died on Sept. 4 in a three-vehicle crash in northern New Mexico. The country singer was 30. Another driver, a 16-year-old, was also killed while the third driver escaped injury in the evening crash on State Road 522.

We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night,” Harris’ publicist says in a statement to Billboard. “We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time. Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you.
