Yes, I'm a huge fan of "The Hunger Games" saga and proud of it! Yes, I'm super excited that this Friday I can see the latest movie of the trilogy "Catching Fire." And yes, I'm 50 years old, and do not apologize for being a fan. Just like I wasn't embarrassed to be a "Twilight" fan. Now I must say that the "Twilight" movies were a disappointment and silly. But the novels were excellent!

The premiere of the "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" this past Monday had tongues a-waggin' when Jennifer Lawrence showed up on red carpet looking like a goddess in a see-through dress. WOW! This actress has looks and talent. How refreshing.

In "Catching Fire," rebellion against the totalitarian rule of President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the 12 districts of Panum is growing. Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is now a beloved hero with the weight of celebrity on her shoulders. The movie opens with Katniss back in District 12, still haunted by the experiences of her first Hunger Games.

Rumors have it that  the third installment of the trilogy, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" is schedule to roar into theaters on Nov. 21, 2014 — almost exactly a year after Catching Fire.

Then Part 2 will conclude the saga almost exactly a year after that — on November 20, 2015.
