Tip Leads to the Second Arrest of a Tyler Robbery Suspect

A suspect wanted in the August 10 robbery of a woman in her driveway has been taken into custody after police received a tip on his whereabouts.

David Ford, 21 is charged with the aggravated assault that occurred at a mobile home park located at 2525 Shiloh Road.

Ford and another suspect, Tevin  Montravian Dorsey, 21, allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint in the early morning hours as she returned home from work. The suspects made off with the woman’s purse.

No injuries were reported.

Thanks to a tip from a concerned citizen who provided vital information on the license plate of the suspect vehicle, Investigators were able to determine the identification of the suspects.
